Salt and oil-free salad

RECIPE CORNER:

Now, let’s head to our favorite recipe spot for a salt and oil-free salad. Let’s create a fantastic salad together!

For a good basic salad, you’ll need:

  • Greens of your choice, preferably fresh and in season
  • Juicy, watery veggies like cucumbers and zucchini
  • Consider making zoodles (zucchini) or coodles (cucumbers)
  • Check out our Amazon store link  to order your favorite 2:1 peeler.
  • Add your favorite bell peppers and tomatoes
  • Include a thin slice of avocado along with oven-baked oil-free yams or gently roasted corn
  • Dress with a few raisins and a teaspoon of grated ginger to add more flavor.

Remember to avoid salty, oily salad dressings. Since many of you are healing from major ailments, let’s steer clear of high-protein, acid-producing foods for the time being

Ingredients:

1/2 head lettuce

1 cucumber

1 zucchini

1 tomato

1 bell pepper of choice

1/2 slice avocado

15-20 raisins

1 medium-sized diced and baked yam

1 teaspoon grated ginger

Instructions

Wash and chop the lettuce, tomato, and bell pepper.

Use your 2:1 peeler to create veggie noodles from the cucumber and zucchini.

Cut the avocado into thin slices.

Dice the baked yam into bite-sized pieces.

In a large bowl, combine all the chopped vegetables, veggie noodles, avocado slices, raisins, and diced yams.

Add the grated ginger to the bowl and mix well.

Serve and enjoy your delicious, nutrient-packed salad!
